‘An Action Hero’ is his career’s genre-breaking film, where he plays the character of Manav who is an action hero and runs for his life as Bhura Solanki played by Jaideep Ahlawat wants to avenge the mysterious death of his own brother.

Ayushmann Khurrana said about the film that it’s different from his staple genre of social comedy, whereas it’s a pure thrill with a roller coaster ride with no social message. The movie is all about an extraordinary man in an ordinary situation where a superstar happens to be in an unfortunate situation and how he will deal with it.
The makers of the movie stated that audiences can even guess who a hero or a villain is in this film and everyone has their own reason to do things. Ayushmann personally never thought of a villain character as he has a strong reason behind being Ayushmann in B-town.
The movie will be in the theatres on 2nd December 2022, directed by Anirudh Iyer and produced by Aanand L. Rai and Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar
