Readers have always been curious about the close bond Ananya Panday shares with star kids like Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor. The three of them have always maintained that they have dreamt about joining Bollywood. While Ananya has already taken her big step with SOTY 2 in 2019, Khan will be joining her this year with The Archies, that also marks the debut of star kids Agastya Nanda and Khushi Kapoor. In a recent interview, Ananya opened up about her best friend’s debut and her being Panday’s competitor in the industry.
Ananya Panday reveals she ‘doesn’t feel insecure’ as Suhana Khan gears up for her debut with The Archies; says, “I feel competitive”
In an interview with News18, Ananya Panday gushed about the recently released teaser of The Archies as well as her best friend Suhana Khan saying, “She is not nervous. She is very confident and I think she is very good at what she does. So, I am actually very excited to see her. After The Archies teaser, everyone is loving her.”
While we wondered if the actress is insecure about her best friend becoming her competitor, to which, Ananya responded, “I don’t feel insecure, I feel competitive. I have always been competitive. I think it’s good to have healthy competition because it keeps you motivated. It makes me want to work even harder. It is inspiring whenever new talent comes because you get to see what good work is out there, you get to learn from people.”
Ananya Panday is currently gearing up for the release of Dream Girl 2 and the film will feature her alongside Ayushmann Khurrana for the first time. In the same interview, the actress also expressed her happiness over audiences returning to theatres as she added, “It is very good for the industry that Zara Hatke Zara Bachke has performed well. It feels like films are back, people are going to watch movies, they want to get entertained. They are looking for different kinds of films. I hope Dream Girl does well.”
