Andi Dorfman: Having two ‘Bachelorette’ leads is ‘a little sexist’

Andi Dorfman isn’t a fan of having two ladies lead the next season of “The Bachelorette.”

“I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t bummed that it’s two women,” the reality star – who led Season 10 of the hit dating series – told Entertainment Tonight, when asked about Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia having to share the title.

“I’d like to see two men go at it. I don’t know, it gives me a little sexist vibe there that I don’t really love.”

Dorfman continued on, stating that “we’ve progressed a little further” than that.

“It’s 2022,” she added.

Dorfman, 35, rose to fame when she appeared on Juan Pablo Galavis’ season of “The Bachelor.” She then got a second chance at finding true love on TV when she was cast as “The Bachelorette” in 2014.

The hopeless romantic left the show engaged to former baseball player Josh Murray but the two ended things less than a year later.

Dorfman got engaged to Blaine Hart after going Instagram-official last year.

Dorfman is now getting hitched to boyfriend Blaine Hart. The Senior VP at CBRE proposed to her in March 2022, after going Instagram-official late last year.

“I wanted to protect Blaine a bit from the world of the public eye and I didn’t want that to play a role in our relationship,” she told People at the time, explaining why they took so long to go public with their relationship.

“But It’s fun for me to share it now, and it makes me feel really good to see that people are truly happy that I finally found love.”

As for the upcoming 19th season of “The Bachelorette,” the logistics of how Recchia and Windey will date from the same pool of men are still being executed.

The new co-leads of the show competed for Clayton Echard’s heart – and were simultaneously dumped – during Season 26 of “The Bachelor.

“The Bachelorette” returns July 11 on ABC.
