Thursday is the deadline to make decisions on player options.

Chicago Bulls center Andre Drummond made the choice to opt in, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

“Andre Drummond has exercised his $3.36M option to return to the Chicago Bulls, sources tell ESPN.”

Drummond, 29, averaged 6.0 points and 6.6 rebounds on 60.6 percent shooting from the field in 67 games.

Drummond, a former No.9 overall pick in 2012 NBA Draft, spent eight seasons with Detroit Pistons, two with Cleveland Cavaliers, one with Los Angeles Lakers, one with Philadelphia 76ers, and one with Brooklyn Nets before joining the Bulls last offseason in free agency.

During his 14 seasons in the league, Drummond has averaged 13.2 points and 12.7 rebounds on 54.7 percent shooting from the field.

In Chicago, Drummond will continue backing starting center Nikola Vucevic who agreed to a three-year, $60 contract extension this offseason.
