Aussie funnyman Andy Lee, from the iconic comedy duo Hamish and Andy, has sparked secret marriage rumours with partner Rebecca Harding after dropping a major hint on a social media post on Friday.
The couple have frequently been posting to Instagram throughout their holiday in Europe, with Lee sharing a major hint that the couple might have gotten hitched during their Italy adventure.
Lee shared a photo of himself sitting in a changeroom at a clothing store in Rome, while waiting for his partner to try on some clothes.
He started the post by saying: “As I sat in the hundredth chair for the day waiting for Bec to complete some more shopping, I glanced right and saw the glimpse into the future.”
“Bec’s dad had found the only other chair.”
Lee sparked marriage rumours after he refers to himself as a “husband” three times.
He continues: “Here’s to Chair Husbands all over the world. You are seen… but never heard (as it should be).”“Upload your Chair Husband pics as a sign of solidarity.
“#ChairHusbands.”
The second photo on the swipe shows Harding’s father also sitting on a chair, also waiting.
Fans were quick to jump onto the mention of “husband” with one person commenting “can you be called a chair husband if you haven’t proposed? #chairboyfriend”.
Another commented: “BUT…Are you a husband???”
The couple have had wedding rumours swirling for years.
In 2020, engagement rumours sparked after Lee shared a photo of Harding hiding her left hand when celebrating her 30th birthday.
