Brazilian superstar Anitta is presenting at tonight’s 2022 Billboard Awards, and the singer made sure to bring her fashion A-game. Sure, a glitzy gown is always par for the course for a big celebrity awards show, but Anitta put her own twist on the evening staple tonight. She wore a shimmering dress from the hottest collaboration in fashion at the moment. Versace and Fendi had a baby, and she wore it on the red carpet.
When Fendace—as the cheeky line is known—first debuted back in September, it was clear that the two storied fashion houses would pair well together. They share a love of bold prints, sequins galore, and a strong Y2K bent. Anitta chose the closing look for the Billboards: A pink chainmail floor-length gown, not-so-discreetly stamped with the giant Fendace logo. She accessorized it with subtle blue heels and tasteful jewelry, letting the design shine (literally) on its own—which is easy to do when you’re rocking one of the most coveted pieces of the season.
