Anthony Joshua vs Jermaine Franklin fight time tonight

Anthony Joshua returns to the ring tonight against Jermaine Franklin, seven months removed from his deflating second defeat to Oleksandr Usyk. Heading into the fight Joshua is under more pressure than ever.

A win takes him one step closer to his ambitions of becoming a three-time world heavyweight champion while a loss could spell the end of his career. His opponent, Franklin, impressed British boxing fans with his excellent display against Dillian Whyte back in November and is now hoping to upset the apple cart in AJ’s back garden.

What time is it on?

The undercard gets underway at 6pm with the main event following at around 10.30pm.

How can I watch it?

Quotes

Joshua: “Throughout my career, this is probably the most serious I’ve taken it, my food, my sleep, the way I’m training, I study the game. Everything I’ve learned good or bad I’m always putting it in another camp. So, I’m not really there to go out for coffees or talk about bulls***, I’m there to f***ing work and put my head down and get ready for a fight.”

Franklin: “I’ve always been confident in myself. I never lacked in confidence. But I’ve just been working, I got home and got right back in the gym [after the Whyte fight].

“It was a messed up fight so I’ve just been in the gym working, waiting. I feel like I won the fight 7-5 from what I watched, but it’s boxing. I won’t cry about it, I know how that stuff goes. So it was just back to the drawing board for me, trying to get back in shape and look for different aspects, different ways to attack, different points to my game and just overall improvement.”
