Anushka Sharma clicked in a school uniform shooting for Chakda Xpress | Bollywood Bubble

We just came across a few pictures of Actor Anushka Sharma on social media where she was captured shooting her upcoming movie, Chakda Xpress. The actor is seen sporting short hair and wearing a school uniform. The pictures seemed to be leaked from the sets of the film where Anushka is seen in a pensive mode as gets into work mode.

According to the reports, the Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi actor is shooting the Jhulan Goswami biopic at Howrah Andul. Well, no more details have been divulged yet but Anushka looks extremely adorable in the school uniform.

For quite some time, quite a few on-the-set pictures have been leaking on social media, leaving fans a little anticipated for the movie. A couple of days ago, a few pictures of Anushka donning the blue jersey went viral on social media and well now, her sporting school uniform is following suit. She was seen playing cricket at Calcutta’s Eden Gardens stadium.

Anushka Sharma will be playing Jhulan Goswami – the former captain of the India national women’s cricket team.

Earlier, during her announcement of Chakda Xpress, Anushka Sharma said, “It is a really special film because it is essentially a story of tremendous sacrifice. Chakda Xpress is inspired by the life and times of former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami and it will be an eye-opener into the world of women’s cricket. At a time when Jhulan decided to become a cricketer and make her country proud on the global stage, it was very tough for women to even think of playing the sport. This film is a dramatic retelling of several instances that shaped her life and also women’s cricket.”

Jhulan Goswami’s biopic release date has not been announced but it will be streaming on Netflix.
