Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is, indeed, a breath of new air on and off the screen thanks to her stunning beauty, vibrant attitude, top-notch acting abilities, and screen presence. Though it’s been a couple of years since the actress has graced the silver screen, she is currently shooting for her upcoming project titled Chakda Xpress. Interestingly, the actress keeps giving insights into the shooting of the film.

Making another addition to her Chakda Xpress BTS diaries, the Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi actress took to her Instagram story and shared an unseen photo, which is Sharma’s mirror-selfie. Captioning the image, she wrote, “When you got- to wake up and wear compression tights (or even sleep with) cuz sports drama film”.

While announcing the film in January this year, Sharma wrote, “Chakda Xpress is inspired by the life and times of former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami and it will be an eye-opener into the world of women’s cricket. At a time when Jhulan decided to become a cricketer and make her country proud on the global stage, it was very tough for women to even think of playing the sport. This film is a dramatic retelling of several instances that shaped her life and also women’s cricket”, along with its teaser. 

Produced by Clean Slate Filmz, the upcoming film is a biopic of Jhulan Goswami, the former captain of India’s national women’s cricket team.
