Apocalypse’s Juggernaut 6X6 comes with a cab built for a 7-footer

Fit with a tuned 850-horsepower Hellcat engine, this Ram-TRX-based monster truck can tow up to 20,000 lbs

The Juggernaut 6X6 by Florida-based Apocalypse is built on a Ram TRX pickup, but has been granted an upgraded suspension, two more wheels, and a major boon to power. Because the Ram TRX’s 6.2-litre supercharged Hellcat V8 normally churns out 702 horsepower, but has been boosted here to crank out a total of 850 horses for the full-time six-wheel-drive system. Using that mechanical grunt, the Juggernaut manages a max towing capacity of 20,000 lbs. 

Off-roading was obviously top-of mind during the design process, here (as was the end of the world, apparently) with the Juggernaut benefiting from independent front suspension, locking differentials, Dana 60 axles, and colossal 40-inch wheels. Air intake scoops on the hood, dual exhaust, and high-performance cooling system are also meant to keep things from overheating in desert climates.

Visually, it’s akin to a grizzly bear – stunningly impressive, but also kind of terrifying – with hand-forged steel bumpers, a front end that flares up at the sides like the Joker’s smile, and an eight-foot sloped bed that’s topped by a waterproof, locking, remote-operated power rolling cover. 

Apocalypse also made the Juggernaut’s interior fit for a gargantuan. According to the brand, the cab and rear bench are the largest ever produced, and can fit a seven-footer. If you’re not so vertically gifted, however, the truck’s power steps will assist you in your ascent into the cabin. 

There aren’t any images of the truck’s interior, but Apocalypse says it’s finished in leather, has heated and cooled seats, a panoramic sunroof, a Harman Kardon audio system, a reverse camera, and a birds-eye camera. 

The Apocalypse Juggernaut 6X6 was tested in the Gumball 3000 from Toronto to Key West, and ran plenty of off-road trials including over 100 jumps. The price for such a monstrosity stats at US$279,999.
