Arcane is an animated Netflix television series that premiered in November 2021. Created by Christian Linke, Alex Yee, and developed by Riot Games, the series is set in the fictional city of Piltover and the underground city of Zaun, two settings of the well-known video game League of Legends. Thanks to its incredible animation and soundtrack, it became a success on the platform both for the great expectation it produced in the gamer community and for other viewers who did not know about this intricate fictional world.
Its popularity has been such that Netflix has confirmed the production of its second season. Although the exact date is not yet known, many estimate that it could arrive at the end of this year, 2023.
