Are Sex/Life’s Sarah Shahi and Adam Demos still together?

Sex/Life is back on Netflix and season two has got everyone hot under the collar. The chemistry between on-screen couple Billie and Brad, played by Sarah Shahi and Adam Demos, is electric.  

And why wouldn’t it be? The pair shocked fans with the news that they were dating off screen too and after all the raunchy scenes they’ve had to do together, were any of us really surprised the pair had an IRL connection?

In case you haven’t seen the show, it’s based on BB Easton’s novel 44 Chapters About 4 Men which centres on mum-of-two Billie (played by Sarah Shahi) and her ex-lover Brad (played by Adam Demos).

Season one comprises eight episodes in which Billie looks back at her past loves and sexual experiences and it is heavy on the explicit scenes. Nothing left to the imagination here.

Though the couple have been private about their romance in the press, their Instagram accounts chart the cutest relationship. From a Valentine’s hard launch to heartfelt birthday posts. 

On Adam’s birthday back in May 2022, Sarah said: “Not exactly sure how two people on opposite sides of the world could have more in common, were meant to meet, were meant to be together.

But I do know I met my soulmate. I do know I found my forever. I do know I’ve never loved deeper, harder, more ferociously. I do know I’m overly grateful for him. I do know I’ve loved him for a thousand lifetimes before and will love him for a thousand lifetimes more. Happy birthday my baby @adam_demos”.

The happy couple seem like they’re going from strength to strength but every relationship has its challenges and working together is no easy feat.

“It’s almost like an experiment,” Sarah admitted on The Jennifer Hudson Show. “It’s a privilege to be able to work with the person you love and also, your characters are simulating real-life things as well.”

But the pair seem to be doing a great job in season two, which features high-stakes decisions, more drama and of course, more sex scenes that definitely aren’t safe to watch at work. 

Some fans have speculated that Shahi and Demos may have broken things off while filming for the latest season, however, rumours have been put to bed after Demos’ comment on Shahi’s latest Instagram dump of Sex/Life’s official premiere with Netflix: “F**ckin oath ya sexy little weapon”.

Of course, all relationships have their ups and downs but Demos and Shahi seem to be set on a course for happiness together. We love to see it. 

“No matter what situation I’m faced with, I trust the universe, trust the cosmos, that in one way or another, things are always conspiring in my favour.” Shahi told Forbes.

Will there be a season three of Sex/Life? Well, the actors and director have agreed that this doesn’t have to be the end for Billie and Brad. All we can do now is wait.
