The latest? Aretha Franklin’s (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman.

Now, 55 years after the single was released, it is being criticized by LGBTQ activists who have labeled the throaty ballad “offensive,” with one organization accusing it of helping to feed harmful anti-transgender stereotypes.

Trans Cultural Mindfulness Alliance (TCMA), a Norway-based group founded earlier this year, took to Twitter to rip into the hit.

“Aretha Franklin’s 1968 song ‘Natural Woman’ perpetuates multiple harmful anti-trans stereotypes,” the group tweeted.

“There is no such thing as a ‘natural’ woman,” it continued. “This song has helped inspire acts of harm against transgender women. TCMA is requesting it is removed from Spotify & Apple Music.”

The group, which is exclusively comprised of trans individuals and work towards “promoting cultural changes to ensure the inclusivity of trans individuals,” has caused a firestorm from those who are tired of the so-called woke agenda.

Since its formation a few weeks ago, TCMA has tweeted about the gender identities of pets and children as young as four, boycotting Zara and H&M for separating their clothing by gender, and the ban of YouPorn for using the word “shemale.”

In fact, because TCMA is so new, many questioned the group’s legitimacy.

“Parody or real?,” one person asked. “Honestly I can’t tell anymore.”

“I thought you had to be a parody but I looked at the accounts you follow and it seems you might be serious,” another tweeted. “Y’all up the crazy level daily so it’s hard to tell. Just in case, YES there is such a thing as a natural woman. They’re born with female chromosomes + anatomy. Seek help.”

A third person chimed in, “Stupidest tweet ever. On behalf of all normal people, I request you remove your Twitter account.”

Even Piers Morgan weighed in and for him — and many others — enough is enough.

“OK. That’s it,” Morgan tweeted. “It’s time to tell these woke wastrels to f— off and end this nonsense.”
