Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor are all set to showcase multiple shades of love in the upcoming Nitesh Tiwari directorial Bawaal. While the trailer of the film has left the audience curious about the romantic drama, celebs recently attended a grand premiere of the movie and since then have taken to social media to review the film. Needless to say, many of them couldn’t stop showering praises on it, including Janhvi’s brother Arjun Kapoor and filmmaker Karan Johar, who seemed extremely impressed with the work of Tiwari as well as the performances.

Arjun Kapoor took to Instagram to not just review the film but also appreciate his friend Varun Dhawan and sister Janhvi Kapoor for their work in Bawaal saying, “I thoroughly enjoyed this love story… it’s a unique yet entertaining film… it has heart soul and a whole lot of entertainment yet it makes u wonder about relationships and life that’s how simple it is… Maahol toh @varundvn & @janhvikapoor have set with career best performances !!! Deftly handled and nurtured by @niteshtiwari22 sir !! Kudos to @nadiadwalagrandson @ashwinyiyertiwari and @primevideoin This one is memorable for all the right reasons…” Varun reposted the lovely note further expressing his gratitude saying, “Thank ak sir”.
On the other hand, Karan Johar who has been the mentor for Varun Dhawan as well as for Janhvi Kapoor, added, “Possibly the most unusual and original love story you have in the mainstream… directed with nuance, abandon and yet so much restrain… it moved me in so many moments… proud film for Sajid to back and for @primevideoin to house and the cherry on the cake is the career best performances of @varundvn and @janhvikapoor…. Besides them, many other celebrities like Darshan Kumar, Avneet Kaur, Prajakta Koli, among others also appreciated the film on social media.
Bawaal, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is extensively shot in Poland and is expected to feature references from World War II. The film will release exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on July 21.
