The saga of Armie Hammer and the Hammer dynasty is far from over. Discovery+ has released the first trailer for House of Hammer, a docuseries detailing the allegations against the actor and “the dark and twisted secrets” of the Hammer family.

The three-part docuseries takes a deep look at the allegations of emotional abuse, manipulation, and sexual violence that brought Hammer’s flourishing Hollywood career to a standstill in 2021, a saga previously examined by Vanity Fair’s Julie Miller in a story called “The Fall of the House of  Hammer.” (Hammer has repeatedly denied the allegations levelled against him via his lawyer, Andrew Brettler. With the help of friend Robert Downey Jr., he also checked himself into a rehab facility last year.)

In the trailer, two of Hammer’s alleged victims, Courtney Vucekovich and Julia Morrison, detail their experiences with the Social Network actor, providing screenshots of messages and voice memos of their alleged conversations with Hammer, which often involved the actor sharing cannibalistic fantasies and sexual fetishes.

“My bet was going to involve showing up at your place and completely tying you up and incapacitating you and then being able to do whatever I wanted to every single hole in your body until I was done with you,” says a man’s voice in a message allegedly from Hammer. The trailer then shows a message in which Hammer allegedly describes himself as “100% a cannibal,” as well as a handwritten note that says: “I am going to bite the fuck out of you.”

The docuseries, directed by Elli Hakami and Julian P. Hobbs, also takes a look at the dark legacy of the Hammer family. Casey Hammer – Armie’s aunt and the granddaughter of oil tycoon Armand Hammer – served as a consultant on House of Hammer. “Magnify Succession a million times, and it was my family,” she says in the trailer. “If you believe about making deals with the devil, the Hammers are top of the totem pole.”

Since his exile from Hollywood, Armie Hammer has reportedly been spotted selling timeshares in the Cayman Islands, where he spent some of his childhood and most of the pandemic. “I’ve let the Hammers control me my whole life,” Casey says. “It’s time to stop. I refuse to be silenced.”

House of Hammer premieres on Discovery+ on September 2.
