Arnot and Howat score as Rangers beat Hibs to win Sky Sports Cup

Brilliant strikes from Lizzie Arnot and Kirsty Howat earned Rangers a 2-0 Sky Sports Cup final triumph against Hibernian.

Former Manchester United forward Arnot opened the scoring in the first half against her former team at Tynecastle when she launched a sensational 30-yard effort into the far top corner.

Howat hit the bar shortly before drilling into the bottom corner from 18 yards as the game entered the final 15 minutes.

The victory ensured the Scottish champions sealed their first Premier League Cup trophy success against a side who have won the tournament seven times previously.
