Arsenal are one of several clubs tracking Paris Saint-Germain wonderkid Warren Zaire-Emery, but the French giants are not interested in letting him go.

The 16-year-old made his debut for PSG in August last year and has made nine first team appearances this season, turning out in Ligue 1 and the Champions League.

His Ligue 1 debut made him the youngest player to ever play for PSG and then he became the youngest to play for them in the Champions League as well. A Coupe de France start made him the youngest to start a match in the club’s history.

The defensive midfielder had attracted attention of big clubs around Europe before he broke these records and has unsurprisingly continued to turn heads thanks to his performances in the PSG first team.

RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins reports that Arsenal are one of a few clubs who have been keeping an eye on Zaire-Emery and are very interested in his services.

However, PSG insist he is not for sale and are under no pressure to let him go, with the teenager under contract until the summer of 2025.

After making his first start for the club earlier this month, the youngster said: ‘I am very happy to have got my first start. I played 90 minutes, I am very happy and I hope that there will be other opportunities in the future.’

Arsenal may not be get hold of Zaire-Emery in January, but they have agreed a fee with Brighton for Belgian star Leandro Trossard.

The 28-year-old will make the move to north London in a deal which could be worth up to £27m.
