It’s going to be a long way back to the top for Arsenal.

It comes as the Gunners struggle with contract problems with some of their current big stars as they face the prospect of history repeating itself and their ‘curse’ continuing.

Man Utd sweating
Arsenal’s next opponents have been left sweating ahead of their meeting at Old Trafford on Thursday night.
Fresh from appointing Ralf Rangnick as their interim boss until the end of the season, United have concerns over his availability for Thursday night’s game.
It could hand the Gunners a crucial advantage for the tie with the German coach yet to be granted a work visa to finalise the move.

Arsenal fans will be lucky to ever see a footballer as talented as Thierry Henry grace their club again.
The Frenchman netted 360 goals in senior club football with 228 coming across his two stints with the Gunners.
But despite his heroics in an Arsenal shirt, and enviable career with the likes of Juventus, Barcelona and New York Red Bulls as well, one of his incredible goalscoring record has just been broken – but not by a Gunners player.
