Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has given birth to her second child: a daughter, named Isabella James Statham. The celebrity baby news was announced in an Instagram post shared last night: a grid post featured a sweet, artistic image of baby’s crib with a tiny hand reaching out of it. It was captioned with the baby’s name and birth date (2.2.22). Welcome to the world, baby Isabella!

Isabella is the model and businesswoman’s second child. Her and her long-term partner and fiancé, actor Jason Statham, already have one son together: Oscar Jack Statham, born in 2017.

We may be barely into February, but 2022 has so far proved a fruitful year for celebrity baby births. This apparent A-lister baby boom just may, who knows, have something to do with the fact we spent the first half of last year under pandemic lockdown restrictions. We had to keep busy, didn’t we?

On the same auspicious date as Rosie (2.2.22), Kylie Jenner gave birth to her second child with partner Travis Scott, whose name and gender has yet to be officially announced, although there’s a popular theory circulating that the baby is a boy named Angel.
