It looks like the wedding celebration for Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul has been kick-started even though the wedding news is said to be rumoured. It is reported that Athiya and KL Rahul’s wedding will take place on January 23 in Suniel Shetty’s luxurious mansion Khandala. That’s right! As the wedding date is nearing now, we thought of showing you a glimpse of his lavish house that gives out earthy and rustic vibes.

Earlier, Suniel Shetty did a video with a wall painting brand, taking his viewers on a tour of his lavish house. And trust us, it is magnificent. As the video starts, the Hera Pheri actor took us to his space which is the living room.
Suniel was heard saying, “This is my space. I call it my space because once we come down here, we are settled here. The beauty is probably the high ceiling which is something that I have always wished and liked and always wanted. Right from the exterior to the interior there are a lot of earthy textures, there is rust, greens, and browns. We have got a lot of plants and trees. I am obsessed with plants, I am obsessed with nature and wood.“
Shetty even mentioned that he has used sleeper wood and organic stuff to build this beautiful home. Later, Suniel took the viewers to one of his favourite rooms which is the dining room.
He said, “The dining room is one of my favourite rooms. I’d say every Mangalorian’s favourite room because we love to eat. It also has a lot of natural light during the day and at night, it opens up and gives you a look at the stars because skies are clear here and beautiful and the nights are absolutely gorgeous.”
He later took us through his other favourite spot and which is a room where it reminds him of the cinema and yet makes him away from the stress in Mumbai. The room comprised his movie as well as his daughter Athiya Shetty’s movie posters. He said, “The minute I enter the space I believe it’s mine and there is nothing that is stressing me out”
Shetty further mentioned the contour of the land where he included rocks and boulders inside the house as a part of the interiors. They were all present before building the house and Suniel decided to take them inside his house.
He said, “I call it the pre-climax because it’s big, it leaves an impact but the beauty of this place is nature, the beauty of Khandala is nature.” After showing the pre-climax, he showed the ultimate climax and it is spectacular. He showed us a drone shot, giving us a whole top view of his bungalow.
Mana Shetty, wife of Suniel Shetty said the house they built is a ‘true labour of love’ while narrating a story on how they decided to build a house in this place. They have named their place Jahan which means the world and universe.
Suniel Shetty and Mana Shetty’s Khandala house truly looks beautiful and lavish. Well, seeing Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul wedding happening in a house like this would be truly magical. We can’t wait to see pictures of their wedding surfacing on social media.
Reportedly, a Sangeet ceremony will take place in the house as it is said to be an extremely close-knit family affair. Only friends and family members will be a part of the wedding.
