FC Goa, who finished unconvincing 7th in the ISL season, will be bidding farewell to their coach Carlos Pena, who will step down from his duties after the game with Hyderabad FC’s Manolo Marquez taking charge.

As far as head-to-head is concerned, this is the third time Mohun Bagan and FC Goa are facing off this season. The Gaurs won the first game at home, Fatorda, 3-0 but conceded the return leg at the Salt Lake Stadium 2-1.

Mohun Bagan’s Spanish coach Juan Ferrando, who is up against his former side, has promised that despite the tie being a dead rubber, they are not going to field a weak team for the match. The side made a strong start in the competition when they defeated Gokulam Kerala 3-0 but were outdone by Jamshedpur 3-0.

The defeat also knocked them out of the competition as Jamshedpur cleared themselves on head-to-head advantage in the competition.
