As Perth fans count down the hours until Post Malone takes to the stage at Optus Stadium, feedback from East coast concertgoers is that the American rapper is outperforming his main act.
The 27-year-old musician has been on tour with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and wowing crowds across the country with his opening act.
The tattooed-face rapper already has an elegance of fans but according to reports, he’s beginning to gain a few more with his latest performances.
Postie, as he’s affectionately called by his fans, has 51 million monthly listeners and more than 19 billion streams.
He’s collaborated with several artists including Doja Cat, The Weeknd, and Ozzy Osbourne.
The Chili Peppers had come under fire from some of their east coast concertgoers for not playing one of their most iconic songs, Under The Bridge.
But fans of Malone won’t have that issue as leaked setlists reveal he plays a lot of his major hits.
He’s also been winning over fans with his nods to Aussie pop culture including wearing an ADCD top, a Bunning’s Hat, and doing a shoey on stage through a fan’s Converse.
