Axel Arigato has opened its first-ever store in Bicester Village, a popular shopping destination in Oxfordshire, England. Opening earlier this week, the new space draws on a traditional brutalist aesthetic with a monochrome colour palette, juxtaposed against a mix of concrete, metal and yellow travertine stone for a minimalist Scandinavian finish.
Stemming from the brand’s contrasting stylistic codes, a key feature of the store is the footwear gallery wall—which celebrates Axel Arigato’s expansive offering—creating an almost gallery-like feeling within the newly-founded space. Arguably one of the hottest footwear and apparel brands, the Bicester Village store also features a mix of podiums and metallic sculptures, which have become synonymous with the label’s creative direction across their retail stores worldwide.
Offering a combination of footwear and ready-to-wear garments, the new retail space will serve as a hub for Axel Arigato’s growing community and will offer both full-price and discounted items alongside exclusive collaborative capsules.
