A BRIT allegedly ran down and killed a mum in beach buggy he was driving while four times over the booze limit, police say.
Warsmeh Sayd, 26, was named in a police appeal after allegedly fleeing the crash scene on foot in Ayia Napa, Cyprus.
When he was arrested later on Wednesday evening, he failed a breathalyser and also had cannabis in his system, police said.
The victim was named as Camilla Christina Pamdahl, 46, from Sweden, who was on holiday with her five-year-old daughter.
Reports said Camilla had left the child with a babysitter at her hotel so she could go shopping.
She was hit on a pedestrian crossing in the resort at around 5.30pm.

It was claimed a car had stopped to let her cross when the rented buggy zoomed past it and ploughed into her.
“A young man driving the rental buggy overtook a stopped car, and hit the woman,” police said.
Camilla was taken to hospital in Famagusta but could not be saved.
Social workers and a child psychologist were looking after the victim’s young daughter until her father arrived on the island.
