Christmas is about family and West Coast star Nic Naitanui appears to be fully embracing the theme in his first festive season with his new son, Ezekiel.
With a nod to his Fijian heritage, “Saint Nic” posted a set of beautiful Instagram pictures of him spending Christmas with fiancee Brittany Bown and their seven-week-old son, adding the words, “Ezzy’s first Christmas” and “#matavuvale”. Matavuvale means family in Fijian language.
The photographs clearly touched Naitanui’s Instagram friend and AFL player manager Melissa Oberhofer. “I can’t deal with how cute he is,” she wrote, referring to Ezekiel.

The pictures had attracted more than 3000 likes just two hours after being posted.
It came after the young family-were photographed last month at Myer Perth City Santaland to promote that event. Naitanui then gave an insight into how special Christmas had become.
“It just gives you a better perspective on things, you know, such as Christmas,” he said. “It brings a family closer together and it’s no longer about you. It’s all about the child.”

Naitanui and Bown previously shared a gorgeous family photo with their then one-month-old son, who was born on October 3, from a getaway to Denmark in the State’s Great Southern region.
