Madison Prewett is ready to say “I do.”
The “Bachelor” alum announced her engagement to boyfriend Grant Troutt on Monday after just eight months of dating.
“7.31.22. You were worth the wait,” Prewett, 26, captioned her Instagram post, which showed an elaborate beach proposal.
People reported that Troutt, 26, got down on one knee in Palm Beach, Fla. after weeks of planning the proposal.
“Grant was waiting for me and led me out to the beach, where he had candles and flowers and a Bible with my new name on it,” Prewett — who appeared on Peter Weber’s season of the ABC dating show — told the outlet. “And the ring of my dreams!”
The “Made for This Moment: Standing Firm with Strength, Grace and Courage” author, who is a proud Christian, looked every bit of a bride in a white, satin gown with gold chain straps that she had specifically picked out for the special day.

“I thought we were celebrating one of our friend’s birthdays,” the former reality TV star said. “I was told we were taking birthday pictures on the beach and when I came down, my best friend led me into the bathroom where my mom and sisters were with the dress I wanted to get engaged in.”
Her fiancé looked equally dapper in a light blue suit, white dress shirt and white shoes.

Fellow Bachelor Nation stars were quick to wish the couple congratulations in the comment section.
“AHHHHH YAY!!!!! Congrats guys! ????????????????????????????,” Hannah Godwin, who appeared on Colton Underwood’s season of “The Bachelor,” commented.
“So beautiful ???? CONGRATS ???? you deserve it!!! ???? so happy for you!” Hannah Ann Sluss, who appeared on the same season as Prewett and ultimately won Weber’s heart, added.
“Congratulations!!! Everything is stunning! So happy for you!,” Ashley Iaconetti, who appeared on Season 15 of “The Bachelor,” added.

The pair first started dating in December 2021 before going Instagram-official in May 2022.
“Grant Michael Troutt, so full of passion and purpose and joy, I am proud I get to do life with someone who loves Jesus and people like you do,” Prewett captioned a carousel of photos of her and Troutt at the time.

“It’s been special since the first date,” she continued. “When u [sic] forgot to open my car door because we were both so nervous, when we barely touched our quesadillas at dinner because of our deep convos and intentional questions, and then ending the night riding around listening to Drake in the car on full blast for hours.”
Prewett concluded the post by calling the podcast host her “best friend, favorite hello and hardest goodbye.”
Bachelor Nation was first introduced to Prewett in 2020 during Weber’s “Bachelor” season. She made it to the finale before leaving the show after learning the pilot had slept with other women.
After the show ended, the pair briefly reconciled before calling it quits shortly after.
