Badminton coach charged with sex assault in Markham

A Markham badminton coach is facing charges after police received a complaint about a sexual assault.

York Regional Police said officers earlier this month started to investigate allegations from a young person who reported a sexual assault.

Police arrested a suspect on May 12 and he was held for a bail hearing.

Oscar Ho Yin Yin Yuen, 29, is charged with two counts each of sexual assault and sexual exploitation.
