Priced at Rs 72,224 (ex-showroom Delhi), the Bajaj bike is powered by a 115.45cc engine that outputs a maximum power of 8.6hp at 7000rpm. The bike’s maximum torque clocks in at 9.81 Nm at 5000rpm. It can hit top speeds of 90kmph.
The bike has a 11 litre fuel tank and runs on 17-inch alloy front and rear wheels. With a ground clearance of 200 mm, the bike is well positioned for Indian driving conditions.
Bajaj has also added new features including headlights with DRLs and a new digital speedometer with an ABS indicator, gear indicator and gear guidance.
“Our understanding of the Indian consumer suggests that commuter riders face panic braking scenarios frequently. With the new Platina 110 ABS, we want to offer riders complete control in unforeseen braking scenarios,” said Sarang Kanade, President, Motorcycles, Bajaj Auto, at the launch.
