Bandman Kevo Seeks $5 Million From Gunna for ‘Time I Wasted’ Waiting to Release Shelved Feature He Bought for $250K

Bandman Kevo Seeks Million From Gunna for ‘Time I Wasted’ Waiting to Release Shelved Feature He Bought for 0K

Bandman Kevo wants his money back and more from Gunna.

In a recent interview with Say Cheese TV, the up-and-coming artist addressed his tweet that alleged the Wunna rapper was paid $250,000 for a feature that was never released.

Kevo claimed that he gave Gunna his fee and shot a visual for an unreleased song. Around two months after the video shoot, the YSL member was arrested on May 11 as part of a sweeping RICO case involving Young Thug and many more.

The song had to go through clearance and lawyers before being distributed, but with Gunna locked up and his team occupied, it never saw the light of day.

Bandman Kevo’s February tweet read, “I paid gunna last year for a feature 250K. And months later he got a caught case which put my feature and everything else got put on hold, just for him to get released and snitch ????????‍♂️ I can’t do a song with dude I need my bread back asap and if they cap im going big lawsuit ????.”

The Chicago MC said in the new interview, “Really I want more money, because I feel like all the time I wasted, over a year, it could’ve—that was at that time type shit, you know? I feel like I deserve some real M’s, who knows where the song could’ve been at before you messed your name up?”

In response to how much he wants back from Gunna, he stated, “Like 5 million.”

He continued, “Realistically, before he got locked up, if I would’ve dropped the song, he would have posted it, and it would’ve did what it did. The song, I was gon’ make it go big, brother, you feel me?”

Kevo said after Gunna took a plea deal for his RICO case that labeled him an alleged snitch, the “investment” was completely wasted.

“Soon as I invested, I feel like that’s when he was at his peak,” he said. “Now if he would’ve got out and done the right thing, he would’ve been bigger.”

Gunna, his attorney, and Young Thug’s sister have all explained why his plea deal has nothing to do with snitching.

“Gunna did not snitch to get out of jail,” lawyer Steve Sadow wrote in December. “He has said nothing and is not cooperating. His plea statement cannot be used in court against any other defendant. So please stop spreading lies.”

The artist himself wrote in an Instagram caption, “N***as acting like they switching to a side But it’s only one side. #YslTheLabel #FreeThug & Yak.”
