The two sides will clash in two phases, starting with the one-off Test on June 14 followed by six white ball matches in July. Afghanistan will continue their tour with three ODIs and two T20Is next month.

Afghanistan, who played their first-ever Test match in 2018 against India at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, have so far played six Tests and have won 3, including the recent one against Zimbabawe.
In injured Shakib Al Hasan’s absence, wicketkeeper-batter Litton Das will lead a 15-man Bangladesh squad that includes uncapped players Shahadat Hossain and Musfik Hasan.
Afghanistan, on the other hand, will be without the services of premier spinner Rashid Khan, while Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Naveen Ul Haq and Mohammed Nabi are also not a part of the squad led by Hashmatullah Shahidi.
Bangladesh vs Afghanistan Test Head-to-Head
This will only be the second Test between the two nations – Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Interestingly, the first one played in 2019 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong, was won by Afghanistan by a massive 224 runs despite that being only their third Test in history.
However, some of the stars from that triumphant Afghanistan side will not be part of the touring party this time with Rashid been rested due to injury and former captain Asghar Afghan retiring from international cricket.
