Lakers guard Dennis Schroder received a ton of backlash on Thursday night for a controversial play he made against Warriors forward Draymond Green.
As Schroder was trying to get around Green’s screen, he decided to grab the All-Star’s knee.
The officiating crew handed Schroder a common foul for this play. Green obviously thought it warranted a harsher punishment.
Basketball fans also thought Schroder should have been ejected and/or suspended for his actions.
Definitely a dirty play https://t.co/tgMIaNx0vP

“This is my take if the rolls were reversed people will be calling for Draymond suspension,” one fan said.

“This play by Schroder was very dirty and should have been a flagrant 2 with Schroder suspended for game 3,” another fan wrote. “If Draymond did this we all know what would have happened afterwards.”

As of now, the NBA doesn’t plan on suspending Schroder for this play.
Make no mistake about it though, Green will not let something like this fly in Game 3.
