The Black Keys, Gwen Stefani and The Black Crowes are headlining the fourth installment of the BeachLife Festival, which returns to its seaside home in Redondo Beach May 5-7.
Organizers announced the full lineup for the festival, which first launched in 2019, on Jan.6. The nearly 50 band lineup, which spans rock, indie, pop, reggae and other music genres also includes alt-rock icons the Pixies, who along with Modest Mouse and Latin jazz conguero legend Poncho Sanchez, will be joining The Black Keys on day one.
Stefani, the day two headliner, will take the stage along with local stars Sublime with Rome, who will be performing songs from Sublime’s “40oz. to Freedom” album, as well as Seattle rock group Band of Horses, Iration and Sugar Ray, the latter of which have become like the BeachLife house band since they have performed every year since the festival’s inception.
The final day of the weekend will be a blues-infused rock party as it closes out with The Black Crows along with John Fogerty playing the music of Creedence Clearwater Revival, folk rockers CAAMP, indie rock band The Head and the Heart and punk pioneer Jim Lindberg of Pennywise.
