Ringo Starr has tested positive for COVID-19 again and has canceled the remaining dates on his North American tour.

That number includes the Ringo Starr and the All Starr Band show that was scheduled for tonight, Oct. 14, at the San Jose Civic.

“I’m sure you’ll be as surprised as I was I tested positive again for Covid the rest of the tour is off I send you peace and love Ringo,” the Beatles legend tweeted on Oct. 13.

Ticket refunds are available at the point of purchase, according to a post on the Civic’s website, sanjosetheaters.org/theaters/san-jose-civic.

The 82-year-old drummer had first tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this month, necessitating the cancellation of a number of a concerts. But he was back out on the road earlier this week after testing negative.

“On the road again I will see you in Seattle on Tuesday the 11th Portland Wednesday I am negative peace and love everybody thanks for waiting,” he tweeted on Oct. 10.

Yet, the road show would only make it through two cities — Seattle and Portland — before being called off again.

Starr and His All Star Band — featuring Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, Gregg Bissonette, Hamish Stuart and Edgar Winter — were also scheduled to perform Oct. 15 in Paso Robles, Oct. 16 in Los Angeles and Oct. 19-20 in Mexico City. All those dates are now cancelled.

The tour was also disrupted in June when two members of his band, Edgar Winter and Steve Lukather, tested positive for the virus, forcing 12 show dates to be rescheduled, CNN reported. These shows were originally planned for 2020. There was no word on whether Starr is showing any symptoms.
