Bebe Rexha appeared to put boyfriend Keyan Safyari on blast for criticizing her weight when she shared a screenshot of an alleged text he sent to her.
The “I’m Good (Blue)” singer took to her Instagram Story to post the message, which hinted at trouble in paradise after Safyari allegedly wrote that he wanted to be “honest” about her looks.
“I always said I would be honest with you and your face was changing so I told you it was…that was the conversation we were having and you asked,” the text read.
He then allegedly called her out for gaining “35 pounds.”
The text added, “Should I pretend it didn’t happen and that it’s ok? Come on I gain 3 pounds and you call me chubbs and fat. Doesn’t mean you don’t love me.”
Safyari allegedly argued that Rexha, 33, was “trying to find reasons to break up” with him.
“Don’t use something like that to weaponize your anger or anxiety or any insecurity you may have,” the text continued. “You know I have always found you to be beautiful and loved you no matter what.”
It’s unclear if Rexha and Safyari, who began dating in 2020, have officially called it quits.
However, the pop star was seen happily singing along to her songs “No Broken Hearts” and “Bad Bitch” in videos posted to her Instagram Story on Saturday.
Rexha’s reps did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The alleged text message comes after the Grammy nominee, who been candid about her body image issues, opened up about her diagnosis with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in May.
“I literally jumped 30 pounds so quickly, maybe a little bit more. But we gotta just be positive and just show people love,” she said during an appearance on “The Jennifer Hudson Show.”
Rexha had previously called out TikTok users for commenting on her weight, which she revealed she has “always struggled with.”
“I was a lot thinner and I did gain some weight — that comes with the territory,” she told Hudson. “I’m not mad about it because it is true, but when you see things like that, it does mess with you.”
She continued, “You don’t know what somebody’s going through, what they’re going through in their life, so it kind of is tough. But I feel like we’re in 2023 … we should not be talking about people’s weight.”
