Bella Hadid is 5 months alcohol-free and loving life

Bella Hadid looks like she’s having the time of her life right now. The model and influencer is celebrating five alcohol-free months, which she announced to fans with a positively jubilant TikTok video taken in Las Vegas. 

“5 months alcohol free,” Hadid wrote in the caption of the vid, which shows the Ramy actor wearing a plunging black halter neck, letting loose in a casino with a friend while a vibrant dance track thumps in the background. Hadid also celebrated the milestone on her Instagram, captioning a carousel of pics of herself in a bright red dress, “5mo ???? ???????????????? #????.” Her crimped brown hair and fully lined eyes are giving major 2000s vibes.

It’s not the first time Hadid has taken a break from drinking. In a January 2022 interview with InStyle, she said she didn’t like the sense of anxiety she sometimes got from drinking too much. “I have done my fair share of drinking,” she said. “I loved alcohol and it got to the point where even I started to, you know, cancel nights out that I felt like I wouldn’t be able to control myself.” She added, “I don’t feel the need because I know how it will affect me at three in the morning when I wake up with horrible anxiety thinking about that one thing I said five years ago when I graduated high school.”

In another InStyle interview in August, Bella Hadid said she’d resumed drinking some alcohol but in moderation. “While I rarely get ‘drunk’ anymore, I’ve completely stopped drinking hard alcohol,” she said. “I have learned what my body can and can’t handle. I’m a ‘glass of Champagne and head home’ kind of girl.”
