To understand the meta of Exoprimal, it’s probably a good idea to get used to all the exosuits featured in the game. Each offers something that can help the team defend themselves against the dinosaurs or other players. Plus, not all are built do to one thing, meaning you get to pick roles in how you play. This allows for teamwork to be the main focus during those heated moments. Before going any further, it’s good to know that not all the suits are created equal in Exoprimal. Plus, not all will be centered around firepower or taking a lot of damage. From my somewhat limited amount of playing, in a tier list, I’ve broken down the best exosuits featured in Exoprimal.

Exoprimal: Best exosuits – tier list

These suits that follow are the best of the best, they can handle well and can act like game changers.

This list goes from worst to best.

C – tier

B – tier

A – tier

S – Tier

So let’s go further as to why these suits stand out the most in Exoprimail. Note, that you can change your suit at any time, so for one match you potentially try out all exosuits.

C – tier exosuits

Murasame: This exosuit is a melee-focused suit, so most of your engagements will be at close quarters. This exosuit can accommodate that but at a cost. It’s in the tank class, so it can take quite a bit of damage. However, since most of its moves are about using the massive samurai sword, don’t expect to be fighting at a range. With this, you’re limited with how you can fight and this is why I placed in the C tier.

Skywave: Much like Murasam Skywave is rather limited in how it fights. The support class can be a great asset, but should not be considered the main healer since it’ll be behind the action. The unique aspect of this suit is that it can fly and slow down enemies. But I recommended trying this suit out after you understand how Exoprimal works since there is a learning curve.

B – tier exosuits

Roadblock: As far as tanks go, Roadblock is a good middle ground. It can push enemies with ease and give the whole team breathing room. The issue I found is that its main weapons are its fist, so expect to be getting into the enemy’s personal space more often than not. This may hold back the suit from being able to output damage, but its massive shield compensates for that. Since it’s designed to take hits and help the team push forward.

Nimbus: This suit is growing on me a little with how it plays. It’s a versatile little exo suit built for many purposes. Nimbuse’s guns can switch from attack to healer, so you can change how you play on the fly. When this happens, you can be a little more aggressive. The reason why it’s in this tier is because of its abilities. While they do help create damage and space for the enemy, it’s just not enough to hold its own. So the best of Nimbus comes out when with a good team composition.

A – tier exosuits

Deadeye: Deadeye is the balanced class and balance doesn’t necessarily mean it’s good. This suit is great to into at the start because it can do everything. But as I played more and more Exoprimal, I noticed there were limits. It can be a one-man army, but things will get even harder for it. However, the best aspect of this suit is that it can be a problem for the enemy team with it being able to push enemies into a corner.

S – tier exosuits

Barrage: Making noise, and being able to have AoE damage is one of my favorite things to do in Exoprimal. Barrage allows me to do that. Its grenade-based attacks are great for clearing out rooms and small areas. Plus, you can leap into the air and drop remotely detonated bombs, which helps you be strategic with your attacks. Because you can push enemies into a kill box and those grenades will finish the job.

Zephyr: Having a melee-based suit in the game is strange, but it works. Zephyr is a highlight of that. It can cause massive damage during close combat, and with its impressive speed, get out quickly. But make sure you pay attention to its health, since it has low armor you’ll need to get in and get out fast. That shouldn’t be an issue, Zephyr’s speed is unmatched and will save the day more often than not.
