If you picked Florida Atlantic to face San Diego State in the Final Four, I’d call you a liar.
But, here we are. We call it March Madness for a reason.
The No. 9 Owls and No. 5 Aztecs will be the first of the two Final Four matchups that will go down on Saturday at 6:09pm et.
If you want to read Reed Wallach’s betting preview, you can find that here.
In this article, I’m going to break down two player props that I love for this Final Four matchup. Let’s jump into them.
FAU vs. San Diego State player props
- Alijah Martin UNDER 13.5 points (-120)
- Jaedon LeDee OVER 5.5 rebounds (+100)
Alijah Martin UNDER 13.5 points (-120)
Alijah Martin is the primary three-point shooter for the Owls, he has shot at least four in every March Madness game, including seven in the Elite 8 game against Kansas State. He’s going to struggle in that area against a San Diego State that’s second in the country in opponent three-point field goal percentage, keeping teams to shooting 27.7% from beyond the arc and 15.7% over their last three games.
Plus, let’s also remember that every game the Aztecs have been involved in this tournament has been a defensive slug fest. It’s going to be hard for any player to hit 14 points in this matchup.
Jaedon LeDee OVER 5.5 rebounds (+100)
Jaedon LeDee has only averaged 5.3 rebounds per game this season, but he’s turned it up in this area since the start of the NCAA Tournament. He’s averaging 6.5 rebounds per game in the tournament, and his surpassed this number in three of their four games.
I’ll take him to go over this number against in the Final Four.
