At the end of a terrific RV trip, there’s a dirty job to be done: Emptying the waste tanks. RV sewer hoses all do the same thing. They connect the drainpipe of your vehicle to the drain at the dump station. But they vary in terms of thickness, damage resistance, flexibility, fittings, the ability to see when drainage has stopped, ease of storage and, of course, price.
Most RV sewer hoses come in either 15- or 20-foot lengths. While opting for the longer hose may seem like a smart strategy, storing a longer hose may not be possible in the utility compartment of some RVs (and you don’t want to have to carry that used hose in the RV with you). We’ve chosen five good RV sewer hoses in 20-foot lengths. Check your vehicle’s storage capacity and consider the 15-foot hose from the same manufacturer if you can’t accommodate the longer one.
