Customers who sleep in the Guide Gear truck tent report that it handles rain, sleet and snow and, most importantly, keeps occupants dry. That’s thanks to its 190T polyester material with 1,500 mm water-resistant coating and a full rainfly. The mesh windows make for good ventilation and the sewn-in polyethylene flooring ensures dry bedding. Guide Gear says their tent fits most full-size trucks, however some buyers complained about fit, so be sure to measure twice.
Set up and test the tent before hitting the road because the instructions are a bit vague and the corner pockets fit tight on the poles. After you set it up the first time, future assemblies will be a breeze, so try it out first in the garage.
