Beyoncé just made the wispy bob trend our number one must-try this summer

Forget the Scandi bob (a modern day must-have look, according to top hairdressers and Instagram), thanks to our celestial queen Beyoncé, we’re all about the wispy bob this summer. 

Now, bear with us, because ‘wispy’ isn’t necessarily a word we’ve historically wanted to be associated with her luscious locks, basically because it means ‘fine’ and ‘feathery’, but Queen Bey has changed all that (such is her power) and now we’re hastily making an appointment with our hairdresser as we speak. 

You might have already heard of a little album drop that happened today, because Renaissance – the Break My Soul singer’s latest release – has unsurprisingly taken the internet by storm. And though each and every song is a banger in its own right (you can read our full album breakdown, track-by-track here) and the sultry, powerhouse images Bey released ahead of the full album drop are to be our forever pin-ups, we just cannot get over how good she looks with a wispy bob. 

Yes, we know that Bey could pull off anything, but we actually think that this look could be a winner for faces of all shapes, sizes and skin tones. 

Firstly, just so we’re on the same page, here’s the image of the lewk in question for your reference… you see, it’s bomb! 

What’s not to love? We love the bangs following the undulating curve of her eyebrow, we love the blunt, choppy cut and we love the way it gently curves around her cheeks to draw attention to highlighted cheekbones and a sculpted chin.
