Beyonce’s album appears in store DAYS before its release

She’s known by fans around the globe as Queen Bey and given she’s arguably the biggest pop star in the world it’s no surprise her latest album is causing a buzz.

But even Beyonce is unlikely to be pleased about the extra attention given to her highly anticipated seventh studio album.

That’s because it has been leaked online and even hit some stores two days before its release.

Originally scheduled to be released just after midnight on Friday (this morning), fans noticed music from Renaissance act 1 popping up online.

One fan in France even posted a photo of themselves holding a physical CD copy of the album, which they claimed was being sold ahead of its official release.

Others have come forward claiming they too have copies, which were being sold in-store before they were removed by staff.

A number of fans have campaigned to report the leaks and have pushed for the songs to be deleted from social media.

A list of instructions allegedly from fan sites reads, “a true BeyHive member respects people’s hard work, awaits the album with patience… devotedly loves and supports Queen Bey”.

Another fan site wrote, “it’s been 6 years. 2 more days, only 30 hours left to wait AND YALL CANT DO IT?!?! you’re telling me you can wait 6 years, but not 30 damn hours. insane. it’s disrespectful to Beyonce”.

The leak will have come as a shock for the 40-year-old former Destiny’s Child singer, given she is notoriously protective of her work.

She even surprised fans with lead single, Break Your Soul, when she dropped it out of the blue last month.

The album is expected to feature Beyonce’s husband Jay Z as well as Drake and Pharrell.
