Bholaa is Ajay’s fourth film as director, after U Me Aur Hum, Shivaay, and Runway 34. None of those films managed to do well at the box office. And even though Bholaa is showing a stronghold at the BO, it is still not pulling crowds like Ajay’s last film, Drishyam 2, which made more than Rs 340 crore worldwide.

The film opened to a modest Rs 11.2 crore on Thursday which happened to be a holiday. Over the extended weekend, it ended up making more than Rs 40 crores nett. It also showed an upward trend at the time of the weekend and was appraised to pass all the important Monday tests with Rs 4.5 crore.

Bholaa Box Office Collection: Current Reports

On Day 7, April 5, the film saw a slight drop as it minted Rs 3.3 crore. This takes the total collection to Rs 56.88 crore at the domestic box office. Meanwhile, Bholaa had an overall 6.60 per cent Hindi occupancy on April 5.
