Big Mood will make you in the, ahem, mood for absolute laughter when it lands on Channel 4 later this year.

Importantly, the humour of the six-part series will be intertwined with the lively, rebellious portrayal of female friendship when threatened by the complexities of a serious mental illness.

Written and created by Camilla Whitehill and directed by Rebecca Asher, the show follows the journey of two BFFs when their decades-long friendship is put to the test at a pivotal point. Sounds like just the type of thing we can all relate to!

The fact that it stars booked-and-busy Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan and the equally talented Years and Years actress Lydia West will leave viewers even more adamant about watching the British series as soon as it’s released.
