Bigg Boss 16 highlights: Sajid Khan returns to public eye, joins show as contestant; says he became ‘arrogant’

With Sajid’s entry into the house, the premiere episode came to a close. The show will air everyday at 9.30pm.

Sajid Khan has joined the show as a contestant. This is first appearance on TV after MeToo accusations against him. He, however, didn’t address the harassment rumours but pinned the ‘sitting at home’ for four years to Humshakals failing.

Archana was asked to change her bed because Sreejita and Tina have a lot of bags. She flat out refused.

Actors Tina Dutta and Sreejita joined the show together. They starred together in two shows. In a clip recorded earlier, Sreejita spoke about the dominating nature of Tina.

Haryanvi dancer Gori Nagori entered the show. She is a controversial dancer known for her packed performances.

Miss India runner-up Manya Singh, who is also daughter of an auto-rickshaw driver, has entered the show. She says her father still drives the auto and she got just one commercial after winning the crown.

“Can’t she choose another name?” Archana said while laughing about Sumbul’s name.

Imlee actor Sumbul Touqeer joined the show dancing to Chaka Chak. She imitated Salman Khan on the show. She also told the host about how her dad inspired her to join the show. Her dad also joined her on stage.

Bigg Boss Marathi winner Shiv Thackeray has joined the show. He said that wants to begin on the show from zero. 

Dentist, actor Soundarya Sharma has entered the show. She danced to Aafat from Liger for her entry on the stage.

TV actor Shalin Bhanot enters the show. Speaking in his special video, he said he wanted to host the show after Salman Khan.

Bigg Boss was unhappy with how Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia was consulting everyone about which duties or beds they wanted. Bigg Boss told her she was not showing leader-like qualities.

TV actor Gautam joins the show. Him and Salman poked a lot of fun at Archana together for her filmy ideas of romance.

‘politician-actor-bikini model’ Archana Gautam joins the show. She said she got ‘botox’ done in her hair for the show. She also talked about her ex who was with her for her money. 

‘80,000 ka shoes’ guy MC Stan enters the show. He has already said that he won’t clean any toilets. He said he is wearing bling worth ₹60 lakhs.

Udaariyan stars Ankit and Priyanka join the show as contestants. Priyanka shows how she annoys Ankit by teasing him. They maintain that they are just friends, even as Salman doubts it.

Nimrit is being quite the nice captain, letting Abdu choose the bed he wants and the task he feels comfortable with. He chooses chopping vegetables as his task. 

Abdu Rozik from Tajikistan enters the show with a Salman Khan song. He promises to break some jaws when he gets angry.

Bigg Boss gives a house tour to Nimrit as she becomes the first contestant. He showed her the special room for Captain and even assigned her the duty. 

Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia is welcomed inside the house. She hopes people like her on the show just like they did on Choti Sardarni.

Weeks after rumoured to be charging hundreds of crores for hosting reality show Bigg Boss, Salman Khan joked that he will return the ₹ 1,000 crore that he never got. Read the full story here.

A promo for the show revealed that a Haryanvi dancer will be part of the show this season. While the video showed her dancing with Salman Khan, her name or face wasn’t revealed. 

Earlier last week, at the launch of Bigg Boss 16 in Mumbai, Abdu Rozik was confirmed as the first contestant. He is the same man who went viral for calling a burger ‘boorgir’ in hilarious video.

Lock Upp winner Munawar Faruqui has extended his support to MC Stan ahead of the show. MC Stan is one of the contestants on season 16.
