Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Billie Eilish announced two special hometown shows dubbed Happier Than Ever, The Hometown Encore, which is a celebration of her massively successful 2022 global tour in support of her 2021 sophomore album, “Happier Than Ever.”
Eilish made history as the youngest artist ever to headline the long-running Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio back in April and she also sold out a trio of nights at the Kia Forum in Inglewood that month as well. She’ll return to Kia Forum Dec. 15-16 for the encore shows.
The tour has partnered with Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan platform and fans can register now through 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23 at Ticketmaster.com for the Verified Fan presale. Registered fans who receive a unique code will have access to purchase the presale tickets 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25. All remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26 at billieeilish.com.
“Happier Than Ever” debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 in the U.S. and in 19 other countries. Both the latest album and her debut, “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?,” were completely written, produced and recorded by Eilish and her brother, Finneas. The now 20-year-old also made history as the youngest artist to receive nominations and win in several categories at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards, where she took home best new artist, album of the year, record of the year, song of the year and best pop vocal album. Eilish performed at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards in 2022 as well.
She is also the youngest artist to have written and recorded an official James Bond theme song, “No Time To Die,” which won an Academy Award for best original song this year.
