THEME park enthusiasts should make the most of the latest Black Friday deal with huge discounts on annual passes to the UK’s best attractions.

Merlin Entertainments, who is behind the popular Alton Towers, Thorpe Park and Legoland, has announced a huge sale on tickets.

Families can save up to £240 when buying an annual pass, with the Black Friday Magic Sale.

The off-peak Discovery Pass now costs just £69 instead of £89.

However, the Gold Pass has been reduced from £219 to £169, which means you can visit any day of the year, savings £50 each.

Opt for a Platinum pass for the biggest saving, which costs £239 – a saving of £60 each.

It isn’t just Alton Towers and Legoland, with 25 other attractions including Chessington World of Adventures, Sea Life Aquariums and The Dungeons.

The sale starts from today, and runs until December 12 (Sunday) so you can get a bargain if you are quick.

Jordan Middleton, Senior Marketing Manager for Merlin Annual Pass, said: “We’re super excited to announce the launch of our Black Friday Magic Sale. “

“A host of spell-binding deals means we can offer families the chance to bag an early Christmas gift and unlock fantastic days out at some of the UK’s best attractions at truly great prices.

There are lots of exciting new rides at theme parks across the UK, many of which opened after the pandemic.

This includes the new Croc Drop at Chessington World of Adventures, the new world of Lego MYTHICA: World of Mythical Creatures, and the World of David Walliams at Alton Towers.

Passholders also get up to 20 per cent off food, drink and shopping at the theme parks, as well as 20 per cent off short breaks at the resort hotels.

Buy Gold or Platinum passes and get free car parking, discounted Fasttrack vouchers and more dates open during the year to visit.
