After 11 loyal seasons in Portland, Blazers star Damian Lillard has officially requested a trade from his only NBA home to this point.
But the team is reportedly going to get the deal done on its own terms.
Per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Trail Blazers don’t plan to cooperate with Damian Lillard on his request to be moved to the Heat and they’re “open for business everywhere in the league” as Portland seeks a combination of “young players, draft picks and cap relief.”

Lillard has had his eyes on the Miami Heat for several months now, considering Miami’s success, team needs and his close relationship with center Bam Adebayo.
The Heat, Clippers and 76ers are all expected to have interest in acquiring the seven-time All-Star. But Woj says Miami has “no advantage” over any other organization that would like to add the veteran PG.
It’ll be interesting to watch how this unfolds throughout the summer.
