Blur frontman Damon Albarn and his partner Suzi Winstanley have split after 25 years together, according to reports.
The couple – who never married – got together in 1998.
They also share a daughter called Missy, who is now 23.
It’s said Suzi, an artist, is ‘devastated’ by the split, although the circumstances surrounding the rumoured separation remain unclear.
According to The Mail on Sunday, Suzi, 55, asked Damon, also 55, to leave their home in Notting Hill.
A source told the outlet: ‘Suzi is heartbroken at their relationship ending.
‘Even though they have been living in the showbiz bubble where so many couples struggle, they had been together for a very long time.’
The insider added: ‘It is a really sad time for everyone involved.’
Following the news, The Mail also reported that Damon penned lyrics about his marriage ending on Blur’s new album
Titled The Ballad of Darren, the number one album was written as his relationship with Suzi was ending.
The publication claimed that Damon was ‘not in the best of places’ while working on it.
One song in particular, named Goodbye Albert, includes the lyrics: ‘Goodbye to you and me, goodbye to the shallows like refugees singing, crossed the world, we disappeared, and no one looks to see if we are coming back soon, I was not ready yet.’
