Bob haircuts have taken over the Emmy’s red carpet, here’s the proof…

The Emmy Awards 2022 are here, stronger than ever, celebrating TV excellence and giving us fashion and beauty inspo galore. We’re specifically obsessing over the bob haircuts takeover on the (golden) red carpet.

Bob haircuts have us all in a chokehold, and we now understand why. For the few of us who can’t quite bring themselves to get the semi-big chop, we look in awe for the girlies that are rocking at that pretty-shag cut, the slick, sharp blunt-cut, that Parisian bob which has a life of its own or even the modern take to the ol’ Hollywood wave.

Live streaming straight from Los Angeles, the Emmy’s did not fall short of bob energy. Some of our favourite television personalities sported a variety of bob cuts, and we can’t quite get enough of it.

For many of us having layers upon layers of hair serves as a comfort blanket and the idea of having all that dead weight lifted off may sound daunting and make you feel exposed, but for some it symbolises freedom. However, hair doesn’t always have to be political. Some babes just simply love the idea of doing a gentle flick of the neck for a powerful swoosh, and let’s be honest, the power the bob has cannot be underestimated.

For the Emmy’s, Issa Rae and Alexandra Daddario opted for that epic blunt-cut chin-length bob which screams power. While Elle Fanning and HoYeon Jung gave us gentle tucked-away waves in true Hollywood glamour fashion. We’re seeing blondes, brunettes and redheads, curls and slick straight glass hair and choppy layers galore. The Emmys gave it all to us.

Here are the best bob haircuts spotted on the Emmy Awards 2022 red carpet:
