Bowling alley in Livermore closes early due to ‘incident,’ police say

LIVERMORE, Calif. (KRON) — A bowling alley in Livermore has closed for the rest of Saturday evening. The Livermore Police Department said on social media there was an “incident” at Granada Bowl located at 1620 Railroad Ave.

Livermore police did not specific what the incident was.

Granada Bowl said in a Facebook post they will be closed for the rest of Saturday evening and Sunday, July 17 due to “an unexpected emergency.” The business added it will send an update Sunday afternoon.

The public is advised to avoid the area at this time. No other information was immediately available.

Livermore PD will hold a press conference at 9 p.m. for an update. KRON4 will send crews to the briefing.

Granada Bowl is located in between Granada High School and Livermore High School. The bowling alley is roughly one mile in between the high schools.
